(More customer reviews)As someone who wears flip flops 364/365 days per year, these are the best sandals I've owned; not to mention the only sandals I've owned since I got my first Chacos 4 years ago. I'm sure I would still have my first pair if I didn't lose 1 while floating down the river. I got my second pair without hesitation, despite the price.
I have owned my current pair for about two years. I wear them nearly EVERY DAY. My feet never hurt, ever. They feel firm if you are new to Chacos, but that is normal. The shape is unique and cradles my foot perfectly. Most sandals don't give this kind of support. They are simply fantastic. Don't be put off since they don't have cheap cushions that feel soft. These have shape, and they are designed to last.
The part that goes between the toes isn't padded, it is very thin (nylon I believe). I don't even notice it, which I like. It isn't big so you feel no pressure between your toes and unlike the other review, I have never chafed. A little story: my dog chewed this piece that goes between your toes so what looked like a thread was holding them together. This little piece never ripped all the way, despite being 90% destroyed. THAT is quality.
If there are flip flops better than these, sign me up. I have had my current pair for over two years and wear them religiously, even after my dog chewed them up. Can $5 sandals do that? Well worth the money.
